Competition process:
(ZOOM online competition):

Email will be received one week before the competition, and the participant number and competition time will be given in the email

Participants are requested to attend the competition on time

The Zoom link will be sent through email the day before the competition

Contestants are requested to prepare their internet tools (phone/ ipad/ computer) for the competition and install Zoom

The day before the competition, parents are required to download and print the answer sheet from our website

On the day of the competition, contestants should enter the Zoom link on time
-
Those who are late for more than 5 minutes may be disqualified
-
Change the ZOOM name to the contestant number, and make sure the lens is turned on
-
At the competition, our staff will read the words clearly, and the contestants need to circle the correct answer on the answer sheet

After the competition, parents need to upload the answer sheet to our website within 30 minutes
-
Those who upload after the time limit may be disqualified

Email will be received one week before the competition. Participants are requested to attend on time.

On the day of the competition, participants must arrive at the venue on time for registration

The competition will be held in groups

At the beginning of the competition, the staff of the conference will read the words clearly, and the contestants need to circle the correct answer on the answer sheet (choose one of four multiple-choice questions). Our staffs will assist the contestants during the competition

After the competition, the organizer will check the answer sheet immediately, and the contestants need to wait until the results are announced

When the results of the competition are announced, the contestants who have won the same ranking will receive the awards together. Parents and contestants can take pictures after the awarding session

Competition details:

There are 16 questions in the competition. (50% within range, 50% outside range)

At the competition, our staff will read the words clearly, and the contestants need to circle the correct answer on the answer sheet. The time limit is 30 seconds

After 30 seconds, the next question will be shown until the end
-
Cheating is strictly prohibited and may be disqualified from the competition if found.
Grading:
-
champion: contestants who can answer 16 questions will get a certificate and a trophy
-
1st runner up: contestants who can answer 14-15 questions or more correctly will be awarded a certificate and a trophy
-
2nd runner up: contestants who answer 12-13 questions or more correctly will be awarded a certificate and a trophy

Merit Award: Other contestants will receive a merit award and will be awarded a certificate

Result announcement:
The results will be announced on our website and Facebook within seven days after the competition. The relevant trophies and awards will be delivered by SF Express within one month after the results are announced
Other conditions:
* All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid
* All competitions will only accept one-time rescheduling
* Absences on the competition day or on Zoom day will not be eligible for the second arrangement and a refund
* All trophies and certificates are printed with the names of the contestants, please check the relevant information carefully. Trophies and certificates cannot be modified once printed. All trophies and certificates will be delivered by SF Express.
* Contestants (including parents and teachers) must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of this competition. If the contestant violates any competition rules, the organizer and the jury have the right to disqualify the contestant
* By registering this competition, the contestants have agreed and authorized us to retain and use the photos and videos of the contestants for educational and promotional purposes, including all publications on our website and social medias
* We do not have an appeal system, and the results of the competition are based on the evaluation of our professional judges
* The organizer reserves the final right to interpret the general rules and regulations of the competition. If there is any dispute about this event, the decision of the organizer is final and no one may object
* In case of any disputes, we reserves the right of final decision

* The Association collects, stores and uses all personal information in a legal and fair manner. This information is only used for the Association's business operations and other related activities.
* The Association will try to keep the latest and correct customer personal information.
* Personal information is stored confidentially. We will respect the privacy of our customers and will never disclose any information to unauthorized persons.
* All live competitions will be taken or videotaped for record purposes. The photos and videos obtained may be publicly used for publicity and promotion.
* Announcement of collection of personal information Personal information is voluntarily provided by participants or their guardians. Each participant or their guardian agrees that the personal information provided may be used for promotion and related services. The information will also be used by relevant personnel to process entries, contact and related publicity purposes.
* In accordance with Sections 18 and 22 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and Principle 6 of Schedule 1, contestants have the right to access and correct their personal data. Participants' rights of access include the right to request a copy of their personal data provided on the student registration form for this competition. Fees may be charged to comply with data access requests.
