Competition process: ​​

1. Parents need to download the materials provided by this association

2. Parents need to show the competition materials to the participant (can be printed or displayed on electronic devices)

3. Parents need to read out one of the English letters specified on the question in order, and participant will point out the answer
4. The process needs to be recorded and uploaded on our website under "lodgement"

Competition details:

  • There are 10 questions in the competition

  • There are 10 pages of questions, each page has 1 question, and each question has 4 choices

  • Parent will read the question aloud, and the participating children must clearly indicate the correct answer

  • Cheating is strictly prohibited, contestant may be disqualified from the competition if found

  • The whole process needs to be videotaped, and the participating children and the subject must be clearly displayed in the video

Short film specifications:

  • Each entrant can only submit one short video for the competition
  • The length of the video is less than 5 minutes (must be less than 500MB)
  • Movies must be in AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV or MP4 format
  • The video must not be edited, the picture and volume must be clear
  • Parents are advised to use mobile phones to take videos

Grading:

  • Distinction : contestants will be awarded with certificates and medals

  • Excellent : contestants who answer 7 or more questions correctly will be awarded with certificates and medals

  • Credit : contestants who answer 5 or more questions correctly will be awarded with certificates and medals

  • Participation Award :  other contestants will be awarded with electronic certificates

Results announced:

 Result will be announced on our website and Facebook within one week, and the relevant trophies and certificates will be delivered by SF Express within one month after the announcement of the result.

Other conditions:

* All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
* Late submission of registration forms and works will not be accepted
* All entries must be originally created by the participant, and no plagiarism or ghostwriting is allowed
* Entries must not contain obscene, violent, pornographic, slanderous, unhealthy, insulting elements or any controversial and inappropriate content
* Entries cannot contain commercial or political promotion elements
* All trophies and certificates are printed with the names of the contestant in Chinese, please check the relevant information carefully when you fill up our registration form. Once the trophy and certificate are printed, they cannot be modified. All trophies and awards for online competitions will be delivered by SF Express
* Contestants (including parents and teachers of minor participants) must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of this competition. If a contestant violates any competition rules, the organizer and the judging committee have the right to disqualify them from participating in the competition
*Once registered this competition, it means that the contestants have agreed and authorized us to retain and use their works, photos and videos for educational and promotional purposes in our publications, website and social media sites; the contestants have also agreed and authorized us publishing and announcing the names and relevant information of the winners
* We do not have an appeal system, and the results of this competition is subject to the evaluation of professional judges
* The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of the general rules and regulations of this competition. If there is any dispute about this event, we reserve the right of final decision, and no objection is accepted

  Notice of Collection of Personal Data and Privacy Policy

* The Association collects, stores and uses personal data in a legal and fair manner. Such data will only be used for the Association's business operations and other related activities.

* The Association will try to keep the latest and correct customer personal information.

* Personal information will be kept confidential. The Association will respect the privacy of its customers and will never disclose any information to unauthorized persons.
* All on-site competitions will be recorded by the Association through photographs or videos. The photos and videos obtained may be made public for publicity and promotion purposes.

* Notice on Collection of Personal Data Personal data is provided voluntarily by the contestants or their guardians. Each contestant or their guardian agrees that the personal data provided may be used for promotion and related services. The data will also be used by relevant personnel to process the entries, contact and related publicity purposes.
* Entrants have the right to access and correct their personal data in accordance with Sections 18 and 22 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and Principle 6 of Schedule 1. The right of access includes the right to request a copy of the personal data provided by them in the Student Entry Form for this Competition. A fee may be charged for complying with a data access request.
